Hi, my name is Natalie!

I was born in Hong Kong and moved to Toronto when I was 13 years old. Iโ€™ve always loved creating things with my hands, but ceramics became a big part of my life when I started experimenting with clay and discovered how much joy I found in sculpting.

Iโ€™m a potter who spends most of my time either playing with my cats or taking care of my plants. One day I thought it would be fun to combine the two, and thatโ€™s how my cute little cat planters and pots were born. Since then, Iโ€™ve fallen in love with sculpting playful and functional ceramic pieces that bring a little bit of charm and personality into everyday objects.

I also enjoy illustrating whenever I have the time, so you might occasionally see some drawings appear alongside my ceramics. Through my work, I love creating small, joyful pieces that make people smile and add a cozy touch to their space.

In this course, Iโ€™d love to share my process and help you discover how fun and rewarding it can be to create your own playful ceramic pieces by hand.
